FRESH FALL ICELANDIC FLEECES

In the quiet of winter, we are able to skirt our fall fleeces and offer them to you for sale.  Shorn in October when the grasses were still lush and green, and long before the winter hay begins, these are our premier fleece products.   Fresh, well-skirted, and clean, clean, clean, these Icelandic fleeces are skirted by a spinner, for spinners.

Prices are as listed with each fleece.  Email us at jager@rcn.com to reserve your fleece and to send us your shipping address.

Shipping: please email for a shipping quote.  We don't charge for handling, only the actual shipping cost.   In a fiber emergency, UPS is also an option, so please call or email for a UPS price quote.     If you would like to use Paypal, I will send you the total in a Paypal invoice.

Thanks for you interest in Jager Farm Icelandic fleece!

Lamb Fleece 239U,     Wow!  Absolutely packed with thel, and the tog is long, silky and fine.

This is a really nice fleece!  I skirted her first because the fleece looked great on the ewe, and I was tickled pink when I got it onto

the skirting table.  She is a spotted moorit gray, which means there are a few spots of completely snowy white fleece, but 90% of it

is moorit gray, meaning a natural mix of moorit tog and white downy thel.  Note the sheen on the white locks in the bottom left photo.  There are a variety of moorit hues in this fleece, some golden, although not quite as brassy gold as photographed, plus some cooler, taupey tones.  All nice!
