| Born April 16,
2008 to Bessie, BLW-118K and Sire FFC-363P, 216U and 217U, both white
ewes. They must carry either badger or solid, plus could carry
spotting and/or moorit. Bessie is a Molur daughter and is one of
our best ewes. She and her lambs always do very well during the
parasite season.
The lamb already is showing the square build of this family. Then in the evening, 130T had a lovely black gray ewe lamb, 220U. Stunned from the birth, 130T was not able to care for her lamb, even while 160T was still calling for her stillborn twins. It was a VERY easy graft. 160T could hardly believe her good fortune that she got a baby of her own at last. Sadly, 130T sort of "came to" mentally by the next day, but her lamb had already been grafted on. So we milked her for colostrum, wormed her and let her go out to pasture. The yearlings mature at different rates, sometimes capable of one component of mothering but not another, and so lambing them out is always more of an adventure. 220U loves her new Mom! She is a cute black gray sired by our Langidalur son BLW-138T.

| Born on 4/17/08, 218U and 219U, white ewe/ram twins born to Lodi daughter BLW-919S and FFC-363P. Again, we know they carry either badger or solid, plus spotting and or moorit are possible. 919S carries moorit so the lambs could be homozygous for moorit under the white pattern gene. She is a very careful mother, taking excellent care of her twins.
Later in the day, our Kjalvar daughter 124T gave us a very nice horned black ewe lamb, 221U. Her sire is the Morison 103T so she must carry moorit. An easy birth, 124T is a very good mother.

On April 18, 2008, two of our Solee daughters lambed just an hour or so apart. These two are pretty spooky as they almost always cycle together, breed together and then of course lamb together. Athena, 145K started with triplets at the age of eight, 222U white ram, 223U black ewe, 224U black ram, sired by the badger FFC-363P. They almost certainly carry moorit, plus possibly spotting.
Then Magda, BLW-343L gave us a very handsome set of ram lamb twins with 363P; 225U a black spotted, and 226U a white.

On the 19th, we had a busy day. 932S gave us beautiful badger rams
with 363P, 227U is a black badger and 228U is a moorit badger.
Really nice!
Then Kibba, 807R had a lovely, sassy solid moorit ram, 229U. Sire is 363P. He was a busy boy while we were away last fall!
Our Ormur yearling BLW-112T had wonderful white twins with 363P, ewe 230U and ram 231U. Again, they carry a pattern from their sire, either badger or solid, plus could carry spotting and/or moorit. 112T is doing a lovely job; you would never know she is only a yearling.
