Home || AI Sire descriptions || Why Icelandic?
May 18, 2009
These breeding ewes will be available to go to their new homes starting in August after weaning, and must be picked up by November 1, 2008. A deposit of one third will hold the ewe off the list until pickup. All sheep are guaranteed to be fertile* and will be registered, unless other arrangements are made. We are enrolled in the Scrapie program with certified status; flock number MA-10.
Remember that as of 11/15/07, F1 lambs no longer have to stay in the Voluntary Scrapie Program, so ewes out of an AI sire can go to any flock. We are still in the program with flock number MA-10 and have been certified for several years now. Purchasers who are in the program will not lose status by purchasing out of our flock, and those who choose not to be in the program can now buy sheep that are farm or AI bred, no restrictions!
* : Some restrictions apply to the guarantee, please inquire for details.

1/16 Skreppur for an AI total of 7/16. 941S was a small twin born to a yearling so was not bred as a lamb and lost her AI pregnancy too late to rebreed in 2008. She has lovely frosted mouflon twins this spring With her smallish frame and outstanding fleece, 941S should be considered a fleece breeding ewe. |
